Our vision for ministry is not ours; it is God's. He has given it to us–we are called for His purpose! We strive by the power of the Holy Spirit, the illumination of Scripture and the Godly wisdom of the brethren and those saints who preceded us, to remain faithful and true to that mission to which He has entrusted us.

…is to be a church that connects lost people to Christ. We have a vision which is driven by the very mission He gave us: Exalting the Holy Trinity, Equipping the Saints, and Evangelizing the Community. Our primary vision is to be His church, that all may be found in Him and all may grow in faithfulness to His promise of everlasting life.

…is to be a church that serves. God has laid on our hearts that the most important person in our community is the person who hasn’t felt the touch of Jesus’ love. Jesus said, "I did not come to be served but to serve." We desire to be a church who ministers to the very real needs of people, in their present circumstances.

…is to be a church which welcomes. Jesus did not wait for us to come to Him. He came to us, and continues to be present in Word and Sacrament in our worship. His Spirit works through us when we serve the community. He wants us to seek those who do not know Him, and welcome all into fellowship in Him.

…is to be a church which excites and challenges. God commands us to “try and be all things to all people that we might win some” to His Son. Because of this, we are not afraid to take risks, we are not afraid of setbacks, we are not afraid of criticism. We firmly believe that God brings new people to our ministry, so all can grow into a deeper relationship with His Son. And that we can be His mask, His hands, His feet, in service to others.

...is to be a church which properly preaches, teaches and confesses the Triune God, Christ Crucified and the correct doctrines of the universal Christian church. Christ calls us to properly hand down the faith to the next generations. By His grace, we intend faithfully to do so.
